Yesterday’s Hearing

“It is our job to make his pattern of revolting behavior clear, piece by painful piece.” – Brett Kavanaugh on why Pres. Clinton answer his graphic questions during the Starr Investigation.

Should he not be held to his own standard? The Starr Investigation lasted 4 yrs. Here are some of his questions he felt he needed to ask:

I keep thinking about yesterday’s hearing.

The screaming, blaming other people, Democrats, Clintons… It’s a conspiracy! Except Dr. Ford came forward about this when she learned he was only a name on a list, so you can’t blame anyone but yourself for not being on the up and up.

Rachel Mitchell. Republicans bring her on so they don’t look bad questioning Dr. Ford. I heard she’s not usually on the accuser’s side, and this backfired on Republicans because Dr. Ford was believable.

Then the whole Lindsay Graham how dare you do this to a white man because white men shouldn’t …blah blah and blah. No consideration whatsoever about HER life. Just his.

The Bar Association (oh god do I have a joke for that one,) Catholics want the FBI to look into him. Bar association did this before (before hearing for circuit court) but Republicans didn’t take them seriously. I hear they were both backing him initially, but I don’t know about that.

I would like to know who coached him, reporting has been saying he’s been coached. Did they coach him to act this way on purpose, because they knew it would be a failure, or what. Speculation on my part.

This is how he is in real life. There’s a Washington Post article about it. I’m not talking about the allegations against him or the privileged white male entitlement thing on brilliant display but he just strikes me as an overall jerk.

It’s hard to fathom. If I was a Republican on the committee to put this guy through, I would have to vote no. We don’t need this on the Supreme Court, and I don’t care if you’re Democrat or Republican. This kind of behavior should automatically disqualify you. Judges should not act like this.

His wife behind him, sitting stoically but yet her face gives her away and leaves you wondering about what she puts up with at home, and his kids! You know he drinks. You can see it in his eyes, in his face, in his behavior – he is still that 17 year old boy. His family must walk on eggshells when he’s home. I know what that’s like.

College friends are stating he lied under oath about his drinking, others are saying he should be concerned about charges being brought against him for sexual assault but also perjury. We know he’s lied about more than drinking as well, thanks to people knowing their slang, lmao and letting us know exactly what that slang stands for.

The lying would be a good way for Republicans to back out of this nomination and save a little face.
